LUBE for Oils Launches Its First Exports from AFZ

Dr. Abdul Galil Al-Shaibi the vice chairman of Free Zones Public Authority(FZPA),the chairman of Aden Free Zone(AFZ),Ahmed Adhelaae Aden governorate deputy for investment affairs, a great number of executive offices general directors in the governorate and AFZ general directors participated in the special ceremony for launching the 1st exported products of the plant which are estimated at 50 containers of 20 tons capacity of engine oils and greases.
In his words Dr.Al-Shaibi pointed to the significance of this plant and the role played by it in availing work opportunity for Yemeni work force; likewise in using domestic raw materials in its production process.
The process is actually recycling used engine oils and greases.He also appreciated the plant management and its good relations with the workers and with AFZ.
"AFZ administration endeavors seriously in seeking work opportunities for Yemenis and in developing the governorate in particular and Yemen in general." Dr.Al-Shaibi pointed.
"Thus AFZ Administration is deeply concerned with the production process,with providing suitable climate for investment and enhancing partnership principle between various development sectors.Indeed through development and the provision of work opportunities and the eradication of un-employment and corruption there would be no reason for riot and chaos behavior." Dr.Al-Shaibi stressed.
Ahmed Adhelaae in his speech appreciated the plant performance in accommodating Yemeni work force.He asked the workers to be sincere and serious in performing their functions.
He stressed the governorate support and its firm stands towards investors and AFZ drive towards Yemen interest.
The general manager of the plant reviewed the phases of the project development and the establishment of the existing production units.
He pointed to the investment cost of this 1st phase, which amounted to U$20 million.
He likewise pointed to future projects intended to be established by the group.One of them is the establishment of paper mill through the coming 3 months which shall accommodate about 200 Yemeni workers.
We started our project International Lube on 27th May 2007,with the kind support and co-operation from the Government of Yemen and chairman of Aden Free Zone.
By the 18th of May 2009,we have completed our recycling project and Can Manufacturing Plant. From 18the May,2009 till to date we have completed other projects which include,Oil Blending Unit,Corrugation Plant and Grease Manufacturing.
The total project investment till to date is more than 20 million US Dollar's which is being wholly self financed by M.Javed Shiekh chairman International Group of companies.
In this happy occasion we are proud to announce that we are going to start another project that is Ibrahim Paper Mills.
Presently 100 Yemeni and 90 foreigners are working in our factory and at the same time more than two hundred Yemeni people are indirectly employed by us.The new project would further provide employment opportunity for approximately 200 persons.
We are highly grateful for the support and co-operation which we are getting from the Government, in particular, Aden Free Zone.
We are trying to convince our business partners and friends around the globe to come here and invest in Aden Free Zone.
We firmly believe that soon Aden Free Zone will grow more and more with the kind of cordial relationship with its investors. The opening ceremony involved artistic program in which all workers males and females participated beside the official guests.
