Aden Free Zone Policy

Prohibited activities within the Aden Free Zone

Products and materials that may NOT be brought in to the free zone or dealt with:

• Decayed & rotten goods, any waste materials that is damaging to the environment and unacceptable for human and animal consumption.
• Radioactive materials, except those permitted for industrial, medical and scientific research purposes with an official license.
• Illicit drugs of all kinds and their derivatives (except those used in the manufacturing of medicines and pharmaceutical with certificates issued from the Ministry of Public Health).
• Arms, military ammunitions and explosives.
• Goods, whose origin or source are subject to boycott resolutions.
• Goods that violate Islamic teachings and public morals.
• Goods that violate copyright laws.

Transparent Work Ethic

Transparent conduct is ensured for the well being of the Aden Free Zone and investors, as such the authority monitors to halt:

• The practice of any profession without a permit from the Authority.
• The use of a license issued for a specific project to establish another.
• The transfer or assignment of a licensed project to another party without authorization.
• Any practice and activity carried out in breach of environmental protection directives.
